Can I change drug plans if I get Extra Help?

Yes. If you have Medicaid or get Extra Help, you may be able to change your Medicare drug coverage once per month (Medicare.gov), rather than being restricted to the annual windows that govern everyone else. Most people with Medicare can only switch plans at certain times of year. This is a meaningful and underused piece of flexibility.
The qualifier: the ability to switch monthly is not a reason to switch often. Every change carries administrative friction, including the risk that a pharmacy has stale plan information at exactly the wrong moment. The right use is corrective. If your current plan does not cover a drug you now need, or applies prior authorization that a different plan does not, that is worth a mid-year move. Chasing small differences is not.
