Areas We Serve
Local Medicare help across South Dakota and Siouxland
We serve the Sioux Falls metro & Siouxland — eastern South Dakota, northwest Iowa & southwest Minnesota. Because Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are sold county by county, the right options depend on exactly where you live, so we built a page for every one of South Dakota's 66 counties with its own 2026 CMS plan data, and for the Iowa counties across the river. About 202,610 South Dakotans are on Medicare; roughly 37% of them are in a Medicare Advantage or Cost plan. Start with your area:

Questions, answered
What areas does Big Sioux Benefits serve?
We serve the Sioux Falls metro and Siouxland in person (eastern South Dakota, northwest Iowa, and southwest Minnesota) and we work with clients across all 66 South Dakota counties by phone and video. That includes Sioux Falls, Brandon, Harrisburg, and Tea, plus nearby Iowa communities like Sioux Center, Rock Valley, and Orange City, and southwest Minnesota towns like Luverne. Every South Dakota county has its own plan page below.
Do Medicare plans differ between South Dakota counties?
Yes, and by a lot. Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are approved and priced county by county, so plan counts across South Dakota run from 1 to 12, and 15 counties have no standard Medicare Advantage plan at all. That is why each county gets its own page with its own CMS plan tables instead of one statewide list.
Do Medicare plans differ between South Dakota and Iowa?
Yes. Because plans are sold by county, the options, premiums, and networks available in Sioux Falls (Minnehaha County, SD) differ from those across the border in Sioux County, IA. Because we work both sides of the Big Sioux, we compare the plans we offer in your specific county.
Can you help if I live in a small town not listed here?
Almost certainly. Every South Dakota county is linked below, and we serve the wider tri-state Siouxland region on top of that. If you do not see your community, contact us. We can pull the plan data for your exact ZIP and county.
Do you meet in person or only over the phone?
Both. Many clients prefer a phone or video conversation, but as a local agency we can also meet in person across the Sioux Falls area. Either way, the help is free and there's no pressure. We simply compare your options and answer your questions.
